Saturday 25th at time 20,30  &  Sunday 26th at time 20,30

New shows created especially for Lana Lights plus work 're-shaped' to cover this building of cultural heritage in Lana.

Sergio Cavaliere (Roma) - "A Love Untitled"
A visual carousel on the searching for love and beauty by a dreamer, through the lens of imagination exploring life on an air baloon. A love story.

Alf Kuhlmann, Michael Wentworth-Bell, Erin Mckimm (Melbourne, Australia) - "Goosh"
An illusionary animated sequence to take the viewer away from the simple structure the audience is looking upon, yet influenced by the architecture of the and original purpose of the building the sequence is being projected on to. Goosh has an urban dictionary meaning : The undesired oozing of any substance, such as jelly in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Mal Padgett (Melbourne, Australia) - "Odofoto"
This is a study of often banal locations being transformed into moments of significance determined by a device we would hardly give a second glance to - a car's odometer. Since he bought his car in 2003 Mal Padgett tried to take photos when his odometer showed a multiple of 250 (750, 1000, 1250, 1500, etc.) or at some other significant combination of numbers. This is the first stage of a project that continues to grow by the day.

Mal Padgett (Melbourne, Australia) - "Rosalie Gascoigne 1917-1999"
Rosalie Gascoigne is not someone you may have heard of in Europe but for me she is personally very inspirational. She didn't start her art career until she was 57 proving there is potential for anyone to be creative at any age. There is something very Australian in the way Rosalie utilised found objects in such a way that reflects the Australian landscape in it's simultaneous starkness and beauty. Rosalie was born in New Zealand and lived most of her life near Australia's capital, Canberra. She was the first woman to represent Australia at the Venice Biennale in 1982.

Chris White (Hereford, UK) - "Form: Absent & Present"
Many of Chris' influences artistically stem from Japanese “Wabi-Sabi” sensibility and the quest for harmony between line, form, process, old and new. All of his designs stem from a keen interest in the understanding and refinement of the design cycle. As we grow older we learn from our experiences and the cycle of life and embed these values to create our own vernacular.

Peter#KOMPRIPIOTR#Holzknectt (Bozen) & Alex Rowbotham (Lana) - "RESONANTIA - The Anatomy of a Building"
Surrounded in resonance as we all are from birth to death, where everything reflects back to us through sound and image. Naturally the acoustic sense is strongly connected with the limbic system as visual reflections enter our consciousness.  In a sense we are catalysts and are in resonance with our acoustic and visual environments, in all that we encounter.

Zuegg - Lana. Juice and jam factory, now disused and about to be redeveloped.
Near piazza Tribus and MPREIS, Via Bolzano 2, 39011 Lana (BZ)
Open-Air - Free Entrance (voluntary donation)

Artist impression of what projections will look like on the derelict Zuegg building in Lana
