Was macht unseren Erfolg aus? Eine Anhäufung von Reichtümern? Einflussreiche Freunde? Gute Gesundheit oder eine liebevolle Familie?

Die Voraussetzung zum Erfolg ist jedem gegeben, reich oder arm, Ost oder West, es hat wenig zu tun mit materiellen Besitztümern oder sozialem Status. Die Hintergründe dieser Arbeit sind handgemacht, im Bleisatz auf handgeschöpften italienischem Papier. Alle Fotos sind mit Hipstamatic mit einem iPhone fotografiert. Die Produktion war eine gute Gelegenheit für Mal seinen langjährigen Designerfreund, Ian Scott, mit der visuellen Poesie der Multivision vertraut zu machen.

Diese Worte wurden fälschlicherweise dem amerikanischen Poeten Ralph Waldo Emerson zugeschrieben.

Mal Padgett
Mal has often been the one behind the scenes assisting Australia's major production, event and staging companies as a specialist problem solver for their important corporate and conference events. He is a freelance multi media producer based in Melbourne, who studied graphic design but has worked in the audio visual industry for most of his career. He started in 1980 with traditional slide/tape productions but now works with digital media and in particular Dataton Watchout for corporate events, museum installations and exhibitions. He was liberated from the soulless confines of commercialism when invited to the Fantadia Festival in 1999. Mal's passion for multivision is shared by those who are part of the Italian 'festivals family' created largely through the efforts of people like the very special Nick Ketteringham who we all miss in his passing. Mal very much appreciates the opportunities given to him by the Painting with Light festivals and looks forward to sharing his old and new work at this special, edition of Lana Lights 2015.
