RESONANTIA explores the soul, the ambience and anatomy of this building using the sounds, coerced and composed live by Peter#KOMPRIPIOTR#Holzknect, and from the defunct remnants of this once very active factory, come images and video by Alex Rowbotham. Surrounded in resonance as we all are from birth to death, where everything reflects back to us through sound and image. Naturally the acoustic sense is strongly connected with the limbic system as visual reflections enter our consciousness. In a sense we are catalysts and are in resonance with our acoustic and visual environments, in all that we encounter.

"Form: Absent & Present" - Chris White (UK)
Line – Texture – Decay – Minimalism – Old – New – Light - Dark – Periphery
These themes are all a starting point for his ideas. Chris enjoys the process of discovering all that the world has to offer and the juxtapositions that can be made by combining old with new. His interest in form and how time impacts on structure and surface will be the main focus for his treatments. Chris creates graphic art that celebrates the beauty of decay. Projecting thoughts onto a surface that has aged and decayed and is no longer of value to commerce in its current state of entropy that invite the audience to engage, interpret and reflect on their own being.
Many of his influences artistically stem from Japanese “Wabi-Sabi” sensibility and the quest for harmony between line, form, process, old and new. All of his designs stem from a keen interest in the understanding and refinement of the design cycle. As we grow older we learn from our experiences and the cycle of life and embed these values to create our own vernacular.

Mal Padgett (Melbourne, Australia) - "Odofoto"
This is a study of often banal locations being transformed into moments of significance determined by a device we would hardly give a second glance to - a car's odometer. Since he bought his car in 2003 Mal Padgett tried to take photos when his odometer showed a multiple of 250 (750, 1000, 1250, 1500, etc.) or at some other significant combination of numbers. This is the first stage of a project that continues to grow by the day.
Mal Padgett (Melbourne, Australia) - "Rosalie Gascoigne 1917-1999"
Rosalie Gascoigne is not someone you may have heard of in Europe but for me she is personally very inspirational. She didn't start her art career until she was 57 proving there is potential for anyone to be creative at any age. There is something very Australian in the way Rosalie utilised found objects in such a way that reflects the Australian landscape in it's simultaneous starkness and beauty. Rosalie was born in New Zealand and lived most of her life near Australia's capital, Canberra. She was the first woman to represent Australia at the Venice Biennale in 1982.
