The project BUONANOTTE SUONATORI was conceived from the consideration that Bologna is a UNESCO European Creative Capital for Music. Among the various musical genres, jazz in Bologna has always had a great influence. The festivals of the 70s, with the greatest artists of the moment, from Miles Davis to Gerry Mulligan, from Chet Baker to Cannonball Adderley, have made the city a global benchmark for jazz.

In recent years the festival has taken and is still home to the best musicians in the jazz world. However, it is the jazz clubs of Bologna that have made it one of the capitals of music in Europe.
The images were taken during several evenings and exhibitions within the venues of Bologna and the result, in addition to short multivision presented here, took the form of an exhibition shown in several Italian cities and in a photographic book , which bears the same title.

Let Loose
Saturday 25th April 2015 14,30- 16,00

Let Loose - This includes work from professional artists who are at the cutting edge of creativity, design, technology and produce work for the love of it, even without a client. They may be cinematographers, time-lapse photographers, graphic designers, directors, writers, musicians or a mix of these but they are all storytellers and have at least one thing in common - how to use light. Be sure to see this session where talent has been let loose.
